Megolf is a display serif with a lot of movement in it. Strokes swell and taper, terminals curl back on themselves, and letters such as the capital M and the lowercase g pick up loops that give the face a 1970s, Art Nouveau flavour. It still reads clearly in short phrases, as the golf-themed specimens show, because the basic letter shapes stay upright and familiar.
The face includes uppercase and lowercase letters, so you can set a full headline or a short quote rather than all-caps only. It is meant to be seen big: at small sizes the fine details close up, so treat it as a title font rather than a text face.

Font pairings
Megolf has plenty of character, so pair it with something plain. Jost is a clean geometric sans that keeps body copy calm under a decorative title. If you want a serif for longer text, Lora has a gentle, bookish rhythm that sits well next to Megolf’s curves. For small caps, dates and labels, Montserrat in Medium spaced out a little works nicely.
