Browie Font

Browie is a sans serif with some of the drama of a modern serif. The verticals are firm but the horizontals and joins thin right down, so the W turns into crisp strokes and the B looks almost engraved. Typeformers shows it in white over a dark beach, then again on the glowing sign of a fashion store called “Rosie Rocha”.

That sign is the clearest idea of how to use it. Browie suits short names and titles, spaced out a little, where the contrast can be seen. The lowercase has the same thin-thick rhythm and a high, rounded a. The free download is one OTF file.
