Velvet Mango Font

Velvet Mango looks like it melted slightly in the sun. Serifs are soft and rounded, the V and M have swinging tails, and letters like g and o feel plump. Rockerbeat printed on a cassette in the specimen is the right setting: 70s, warm and a bit groovy.

It is designed by Ratna Krismawati of Krismagraph, with upper and lowercase, numbers, punctuation and currency signs. The free file on this page is a single OTF. Because the curves are so soft, it reads best in short words at large sizes.
