Romantic Angela is a soft, heavy serif straight from a 1970s record shop. Mega Type gave it ball terminals, swelling curves and a g with a loop that drops well below the line. The cover stacks “Romantic Angela” in orange over a darker extrude layer, with little gold sparkles around it, on a cream linen texture.
The opentype preview is the one to study. “Sweet Kind” shows stylistic sets SS01, SS04 and SS05, which swap in curlier versions of letters such as S, K and d. There are 335 glyphs in total, with alternates and ligatures, and the family includes Regular, Italic, Outline and Extrude styles so you can stack layers in different colours.
