Stellar – Modern Luxury Font

Stellar is a refined serif by Pinisiart with very fine hairlines, sharp terminals and tall, slightly narrow letters. Set large, as in the specimen’s single-word title, it looks calm and expensive. The lowercase keeps the same delicate contrast, so it holds together across a whole line, not just in capitals.

The specimens show it on jewellery price lists, Instagram sale posts and a tote-bag logo, which is a fair summary of where it fits. The full version includes OTF, TTF and WOFF files with basic Latin letters, numbers and punctuation, and works in Adobe apps and Microsoft Word.

Best uses for Stellar

  • Jewellery, fashion and beauty brand logos
  • Instagram posts, stories and highlight covers
  • Price lists and menus for boutiques and cafés
  • Packaging and swing tags
  • Magazine-style headlines

Font pairings

Stellar’s thin strokes need a sturdy partner. Montserrat in Regular or Medium works well for prices, buttons and small labels. For longer captions, Lato stays readable on phones. If you want a matching serif for body copy, Cormorant Garamond shares its elegant mood at text sizes.

Stellar – Modern Luxury Font FAQ

Is Stellar font free for commercial use?

No. Pinisiart’s free version is personal use only. Brand logos, product packaging and paid social posts need the commercial licence.

What free font is similar to Stellar?

For a free, open-licence alternative, try Italiana for the same light, tall elegance, or Cormorant in Light for a fuller family with italics.

Is Stellar readable at small sizes?

Its hairlines are very thin, so it is best from about 24px upwards on screen. Keep it for headlines and short words and use a sans serif for small text.
