Editorial Today is a practical serif rather than a showy one. It has moderate contrast, open letter shapes and a slightly soft finish on the serifs. Set as a Thoreau quote over a camper van photo in the specimen, it reads easily at a modest size, and in heavy weights it turns warm and chunky in the we love you floral badge.
UICreative released the family in 2023 with nine styles: Thin, Regular, Semi Bold, Bold and Extra Bold, plus matching italics for most of them. The free file on this page is a single OTF, so you get one weight to try.
