Mozes is a variable serif from Inviline, designed by Virgiawan Listanto and released in 2025. The capitals are wide and solid, with crisp wedge serifs, and the O carries a small diamond in its centre. A variable font lets you slide between light and bold, and the specimen uses that to mix heavy words like MUSIC and TIME with lighter ones in the same line.
There is a slightly ancient, storybook feel to it, helped by the old painting used behind the title. That makes it a fine choice for album covers, historical fiction or anything with a sense of heritage. The full version adds alternates, ligatures and multilingual characters in OTF, TTF, WOFF and WOFF2.
Best uses for Mozes
- Album and vinyl covers
- Book covers for history and fantasy
- Film and theatre posters
- Mixed-weight editorial headlines
- Heritage food and drink brands
Font pairings
With so much range in Mozes itself, a simple partner is enough. Inter sets small credits and track lists cleanly. Cormorant Garamond matches the classic mood for body text. For a modern, compact sans, Archivo works in captions.
