Lobster is a heavy, slanted script that looks like hand painted shop signage. Pablo Impallari drew it in Argentina and gave it a large set of ligatures and alternates, so pairs of letters connect in slightly different ways depending on what sits next to them. That is what keeps Lobster from looking like a row of identical stamps.
The character chart shows the full upper and lowercase, accented letters such as á, ç, ê, ñ, ö and š, and numerals. One older note on this page said Lobster was for personal use only. That was wrong: Lobster is released under an open licence.

Lobster needs a calm partner. Cabin and Open Sans work well for body text, and Arvo adds a sturdy slab for menus.
