Inner – Modern Sans Display Font

Inner is built from heavy blocks. Marvadesign squared off the bowls, cut small gaps into joins so some letters look stencilled, and pushed the weight so far that counters shrink to slits. The INNER logo in the specimen, with its split N, shows the idea well.

It is a single style with multilingual support. The repeated Simple Text pattern and the Be Like So Line poster show its best trick: tiled across a page in two colours, it stops being text and becomes a pattern.

Font pairings

Inner is extreme, so pair it with something very plain. Inter keeps small text neat. Space Mono adds a typed, underground feel for dates and credits. Archivo works for subheads that need some weight.
