Hello Radio – Vintage Monoline Script Font

Hello Radio has the even, single-weight line of a neon tube or a sign painter’s brush. Invasi Studio drew it in 2023 as a retro monoline script, with big looping capitals and a lowercase that connects in easy, rounded joins. The R in “Radio” swings far out to the left, which gives the logo its shape.

The “Kapture Apparel & Co” sample shows a common trick: a long underline swash running under the word. The font includes upper and lowercase, numbers, punctuation and ligatures, with support for over 60 Latin-based languages. The full version comes in OTF, TTF and WOFF.

Best uses for Hello Radio

Font pairings

A spaced-out sans in capitals is the classic partner for a monoline script. Josefin Sans matches the vintage mood, as in the specimen’s small lines. Oswald gives a stronger, condensed contrast. For text, Karla keeps things friendly.

Can I use Hello Radio font for a clothing brand?

Only with a paid licence. Apparel and logos are commercial uses, so buy one from Invasi Studio before you print.

Yellowtail and Damion are open-licence retro scripts. Yellowtail is the closer match for the 1950s look, though its stroke has a little more contrast.

Does Hello Radio work for embroidery or vinyl cutting?

Monoline scripts like Hello Radio are a good fit because the stroke width is even. Keep the size reasonable so thin joins don’t break in the cut or stitch.
