Astonilac looks like a signature written with a fine ballpoint. Letterhend Studio kept the stroke a single even width, so there is no thick and thin, and let the capitals and the t cross bar run long. On the cover the crossing stroke of the t sweeps right across the name and under a palm leaf.
The business card preview, “Anthony Stindle”, is the clearest use case: a name in Astonilac with small capital details below. The standard character set covers upper and lowercase, numerals and punctuation on a torn paper background, and the cover notes multilingual support and stylistic alternates.

Font pairings
Astonilac is thin, so pair it with something firm. Oswald works for small capitals, Lato for body text and Cormorant Garamond for a softer look.
