The Starglace

The Starglace is a showpiece script. Letterhend Studio drew it with fine hairlines and very long, looping capitals, and on the cover the T of “The” and the S of “Starglace” throw swirls right across the image. It is set in red over a pale photo of a domed European city skyline.

Behind the flourishes is a fairly calm lowercase, so names and short phrases stay legible. The designer lists alternates, ligatures, multilingual support and PUA encoding, which lets you reach the extra swashes in apps without a glyph panel. The download includes OTF and WOFF files.
