Dikira is a fat serif with the corners sanded off. Serifs are short and blunt, bowls are round, and letters such as k and r have little ball terminals. Repeated four times in the specimen, DELICIOUS looks like a 1970s cookie tin, which is exactly the mood it sets.
Shakira Studio released it in October 2025. The paid set has Regular and Italic styles with alternates, ligatures and multilingual support in OTF, TTF and WOFF. The free file here is a single OTF. Thanks to its weight, Dikira prints well on kraft paper and dark backgrounds where thin fonts disappear.
Best uses for Dikira
- Bakery, cookie and dessert brands
- Food and drink packaging
- Retro posters and record sleeves
- Café chalkboards and menus
- Logos for small shops and markets
Font pairings
Pair Dikira with something lighter. Jost gives a clean contrast for menus and prices. Nunito keeps the friendly feel in body text. For a second display face, Shrikhand adds a matching retro italic flavour.
