Royal Chapter is bold and dramatic. Ergibi Studio gave it heavy strokes, very thin joins and long, pointed serifs that sweep off letters like the R, C and p. Over a photo of classical columns, the title looks like the opening of a costume drama. The lowercase is just as heavy, with a short x-height and curled ends.
It also works in smaller doses. The tote bag in the specimen carries “Be kind yourself!” in a stacked, slightly tilted layout, which shows how well it suits short slogans. The full version includes ligatures and international accents in OTF, TTF and WOFF.

Font pairings
Royal Chapter is heavy, so pair it with a light, simple sans. Montserrat in Light matches the specimen’s small caps lines. Lato is good for body text. For a softer serif in paragraphs, try Cormorant Garamond.
