Shield Font

Shield is a geometric sans with a hidden second personality. In its regular form the letters are wide, round and even, with simple, open shapes. The cover sets “Shield” in heavy white over a blue-toned portrait, with a red “New” tag.

The uppercase sheet shows the alternates in red next to the regular letters: a pointed A, angled versions of K, M and N, a ringed O and a few others. Mixing a few of those into a word gives a logo an edge without changing the font. The lowercase, numerals and basic symbols complete the set.
