Calegar is a display serif with high contrast, pointed serifs and generous curves. The lowercase g is the standout, with a tiny upper bowl and a huge, swinging lower loop. The cover sets the name in white on black with Regular and Italic below.
A big g sits next to good working to start good condition, with to start in a gold italic, which shows the two styles together. The character sheet covers upper and lowercase, numbers and a wide range of punctuation and symbols. According to the font listing, each style has 234 glyphs.
