Zowie is chunky, hand-drawn and a little rough at the edges. Arendxstudio gave it uneven, heavy letters with a dry, slightly worn texture, like ink on old paper. The specimen calls it “Rough Vintage”, and that’s an honest summary.
The logo page is where it makes sense: “Adventure Bikers”, “The Campers”, “Fuel Fire” and “Road Tuner” badges, all in one colour. Zowie handles curved and stacked layouts well. The full version includes alternates with ink-splatter and halftone textures. The free download includes TTF and WOFF2.

Font pairings
Zowie is heavy and textured, so pair it with clean type. Oswald works for subheads. Roboto Slab gives a sturdy, vintage partner for body copy. For small print, Barlow is a good choice.
