Sunset Script is handwriting, not calligraphy. Slidehack drew it with quick, slightly scratchy strokes, a narrow build and letters that lean at different angles, like real notes in a diary. Unlike most fonts called script, the letters mostly don’t join, so it reads more like print handwriting.
The specimens use it on black-and-white photos with an Oscar Wilde quote and short words like “love” and “desire” on torn paper. It also holds up in a few lines of text, though at small sizes the thin strokes get faint. The full version comes in TTF, OTF and WOFF.

Font pairings
A clean sans helps Sunset Script stand apart. Inter is a good neutral choice, as the Oscar Wilde sample shows with its small credit line. Libre Baskerville gives a bookish contrast. For a typewritten note beside it, try Courier Prime.
