Rosarivo was created to be used in the letterpress printing system. This pretty and exquisite font, characterized by sophisticated features, is suitable for use in tender styles and designs. As it is designed from the letterpress background, this font has less contrast and lighter shades of colors than the standard Roman text style fonts. The serifs are well-designed and have smooth edges for better contrast, and the height of the ascenders and descenders is set higher to accommodate more vertical space in texts with wider line spacing. It was designed by Maria Maximilianova as part of her postgraduate degree in Typeface Design at the University of Buenos Aires.
Rosarivo belongs to the Unicode typeface family, which means that it can be used for Latin-based scripts and their derivatives. Rosarivo may also be expanded to include other scripts that are used by people in their day-to-day lives.
