Naru Sans starts from circles and straight lines, then softens them with a few grotesque habits in the curves and joins. It feels plain without being cold.
Lettertype Studio drew 18 styles: nine weights from Thin to Black, each with an oblique. There are alternates for K, j, k and y, extra figure styles and fractions. The specimen tries it on a set of fruit drink cards, Fresh Orange, Sweet Banana and Lemon Tea, which shows how it handles small nutrition text next to big titles.
