Monpan is a heavy serif with a condensed build, chunky wedge serifs and a long swash that sweeps under the last letter. The cover sets it in cream over a purple shape that bends like a wave.
A Long Island Iced Tea poster, in yellow on teal next to a tall glass, shows its bar menu side. A grey magazine cover headed Interview Marlies Hoevers shows the editorial one. Muhammad Nasir of Aqeela Studio drew 226 glyphs, with support for around 200 languages. The swash is optional, so the same word can look formal or playful.
