Milner is heavy, but it is not a plain geometric sans. Typeformers gave the strokes a slight taper, so letters like the A, N and V end in wedge-shaped cuts, and the lowercase has a lively, almost hand-cut rhythm. The cover sets “MILNER” in cream across a red, rain-spotted surface, with the tagline “strong, bold, clean”.
The “Allison Photography” mock-up shows it as a brand name in red above two paragraphs of text and a photo of white shutters on a red wall. It carries the page well. The character sheet covers upper and lowercase, numerals and the usual punctuation, all in the same single heavy weight.
