Kolta is a script with so much weight that the counters nearly close. Loops are big and round, joins are smooth, and capitals like K and V curl into fat swirls. In blue on bright yellow, The Saint Vanity on the specimen looks lifted from a 1970s record shop window.
Jolicia Type released it in 2025 with 372 glyphs and support for around 90 languages, sold as OTF, TTF and WOFF2. Because it is so heavy, Kolta survives being printed small on labels or stitched onto a cap better than thin scripts do.
