Expend is chunky and wide, with round bowls and flat, squared ends. The cover sets EXPEND in cream over a dark gym photo, with an outline copy of the word behind it. Three labels underneath describe it well: Regular Italic, Sport Display and Geometry Style.
Marvadesign released it in 2023 with two styles. The specimen shows a full set of accented capitals for multilingual text, and figures and punctuation in the same heavy weight. The free download is OTF. The italic has a strong forward lean that suits sport and speed. Set it tight in capitals for a solid block, or mix Regular and Italic in one headline for movement. It holds up well at large sizes on banners and shirts.
